Leopard Is The Cat's Meow

Remember the essay contest I entered a while back?  I won 3rd place!  It was about American History.  Snoozer topic, but I did my research and it paid off!  Last night I had to go read my essay at a reception and accept my certificate and surprise prize....a check!  It wasn't enough for me to retire on, but hey, it's a start!

Here's my look for the reception.  I balanced the wild side (leopard) with a conservative length knit skirt and kept the look somewhat neutral with a white denim jacket.  It's neutral but dressier and more respectable for a reception than a blue denim jacket or a black jacket would've been with this look.

    Congratulations on winning 3rd place for your essay! The dress was purchased about 2 weeks ago from H&M and I take all of my photographs for the upcoming month all within a weekend so that's why it dragged until May ;)
