April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The color associated with this organization is cobalt blue. Once a week during April, we can dress in cobalt blue at school and give a moment of silence and a short prayer for all the children who have suffered abuse or are currently in abusive families. I just can't imagine what that's like.
Today I chose to wear a cobalt blue boyfriend sweater and a scarf (it's cold again). And please ignore my laces.....you know I love to change my laces but this was for another thing at school and I just never changed them back. This is NOT part of the look....well, shouldn't be anyway. ;-) Cut me some slack for the sake of National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
