I had to dress up on Friday to read an essay to a group of conservative "oldies but goodies" for a contest I entered. I decided not to offend any of them with a teeny tiny miniskirt or a sheer top showing my bra. Enter the conservative skirt and respectable jacket. I hope they weren't offended with my flip flops.....oh well. Smiles all around!!!

I love this skirt! And you are right...generally the most conservatively dressed for the office the less eyebrows you raise! Sadly....winter has returned to Chicago!
ReplyDeleteI think this is completely appropriate! Flip-flops are totally fine here. On vacation right now, I'm staying in a house with some of my dad's relatives who are super conservative and religious and about all I brought with me are crop tops and cut-offs. Oops. Hehe.
